TEDxSSTU 2017 08.02.2017
On February 10th, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. Saratov time Yuri Gagarin Saratov State Technical University will host an international independently organized TED (Technology Entertainment Design) event for the second time. The topic of the event is The Barriers to Overcome.
The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
At TEDx events, a screening of TED Talks videos — or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos — sparks deep conversation and connections at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
TEDxSSTU is believed to become a big bright event in Saratov life which will unite lots of people including SSTU staff and students who will be volunteering for TEDx.
The main goal of TEDx is to attract as many interesting and interested people as possible and discuss important social ideas among them.
Instead of other conferences, TEDxSSTU will be filmed and all the TEDxSSTU talks videos with English subtitles will be uploaded on YouTube and on the web-site of the conference www.tedxsstu.com .
