SSTU held an online meeting with LIU

SSTU was represented by Tatiana Kasaeva, Vice-rector for International Relations, Ekaterina Vedyaeva, Head of the Vocational Guidance and Admission Department and Tamara Budanova, Head of the International Relations Department.

From the Lebanese International University, the meeting was attended by Amin Hajjali, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Anwar Kawtharani, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ali Tarabei, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and Mohammad Abboud, Deputy Head of the Department of the Engineering Studies.

The prospects for joint scientific and practical research, conferences and students exchange programmes within the programme of academic mobility have been discussed. Ali Tarabay, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of LIU expressed particular interest in the admission of students to postgraduate programs in socio-economic and IT studies. Ekaterina Vedyaeva provided detailed information about research schools, as well as the specifics of admission and postgraduate studies at Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.

The signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities is planned.

The Lebanese International University is a private university founded by philanthropist and former Minister of Defense and Education of Lebanon Abdul Rahim Murad. There are currently 31,000 students studying at the university. LIU has five faculties: School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Business and Management, School of Pharmacy, School of Education.
