SSTU Hosts the ‘In Unison’ Language Festival

Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov hosted the festival ‘In Unison’, dedicated to the celebration of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The event was organised as part of the project Student Club of National Cultures ‘Constellation of Nations’.

Students from Togo, Bangladesh, Morocco, Mongolia, Korea, Sudan, Turkey and Turkmenistan prepared creative performances. The programme included poems, fables and poems in the native languages, as well as folk songs reflecting the national traditions and cultural heritage of different countries.

Tatyana Kornaukova, Head of the Coordination Centre for the Formation of Active Citizenship among Young People and Tamara Budanova, Head of the International Relations Department, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

The event became a platform for intercultural dialogue, contributed to strengthening friendly ties between students and creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and unity in the university community.

It should be mentioned that Arina Ogneva, a youth specialist at the University’s Youth Policy Department, received grant support for the implementation of the project Student Club of National Cultures ‘Constellation of Nations’ as part of the Volga Federal District Youth Forum ‘иВолга-2025’.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Volga Federal District Civil Society Development Fund.
