Petrovsk Branch of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov
The branch of SSTU in Petrovsk was founded in 2004. Traditionally its students become prize winners taking part in prestigious competitions and championships where, apart from their knowledge and skills, they have to demonstrate unconventional approach to the problems, engineering and entrepreneurship competences. They became leaders in the regional championship of trade jobs WorldSkills Russia «Young Professionals», and the All-Russian competition in scientific, technical and innovative creativity «SHUSTRIK».
The branch in Petrovsk is a dynamic community with a talented faculty launching innovative projects and prepared for success in technical education and practical training.

The Centre for Youth Innovative Art was established in 2014. Today it is a centre of technical training where students can receive professional advice and use innovative high-precision equipment to make a prototype or part of any device.
