An event on the prevention and counteraction of extremism was held at the SSTU

A meeting was held at the Gagarin State Technical University with a representative of the Center for Countering Extremism and foreign students of the Socio-Economic Institute, aimed at preventing terrorism in modern society.

The students discussed the specifics of extremism, as well as various situations that may be associated with this phenomenon. Special attention was paid to the issues of protection from terrorism and responsibility for extremist activities.

"Such educational meetings are very important in terms of fostering tolerance, culture of interethnic communication, fostering respect and knowledge of Russian laws, rights and duties of foreign citizens," said Geldiyarov Hudaiberdi, a student at SEI.

Recall that the SSTU systematically holds meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Saratov region.
