Foreign students of Russian as a foreign language courses attended the Open Day

Evgeniya Tokareva, Head of the International Relations Department, told about the importance of the recognition of foreign education, changes in visa status and socio-cultural adaptation for foreign students.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Institutes: Elena Kalikinskaya (Institute of Applied Information Technology and Communications), Maxim Zenin (Institute of Engineering, Materials Science and Transport), Olga Ushakova (Institute of Electronic Engineering and Instrumentation), Nina Khayuk (Institute of Urbanism, Architecture and Construction). They presented in detail the fields of study and noted the peculiarities of the admission process. At the end of the Open Day students asked questions about the specialties they were interested in.

"After graduation from Russian language courses I am going to enter the specialty "Mechanical Engineering". At the meeting I learned about the admission procedure and more detailed information on the training direction, which is in great demand among employers," listener Alahader Osman Ahmed Savd from Egypt said.

Such events help foreign students to decide on the choice of specialty and better understand how student life is organized.
