SSTU held an online meeting with the Uzbek partner university

A video meeting was held between representatives of the leadership of the Gagarin State Technical University and partners from the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The meeting was attended by Olga Mizyakina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Igor Ostroumov, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Tatyana Kasaeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Alexey Kazinsky, Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Transport, Svetlana Kumova, Director of the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications, Alexander Nikiforov, Director of the Institute of Electronic Technology and Instrumentation, Nadezhda Lisitskaya, Head of the UMU, head of the UNPP Alexander Kulbyakin, employees of the Department of International Communications.

On the part of the partner university, the meeting was attended by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Mirzohid Bekmirzaev, Vice-rector for Science and Innovation of the NITI Aibek Ergashev, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Avazbek Obidov, head of the International department Ahror Tursunov, head of the Department of Joint educational programs Elena Tadaeva.

The colleagues discussed issues of cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, joint research in priority areas of science and technology development, the creation of a joint materials science center at the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology Mechanical Park, exchange of students, graduate students and interns.

Special attention was paid to the issue of joint creation of an engineering school, the purpose of which is modern training and staffing of engineering organizations of the Russian Federation. This cooperation will consist in providing educational spaces and materials, participating in the formation of an educational program, providing places for internships and internships, and participating in the research work of students.
