SSTU International Student Football Cup

On April 1 SSTU sports hall hosted SSTU International Student Football Cup. It was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first human space flight.

6 teams took part in the competition:

• the team of Iraq;
• the team of Egypt;
• the united team of African countries;
• the team of Morocco;
• the Russian team 1;
• the Russian team 2.

The united team of African countries and the Russian team 1 met in the final of the competition, where the union of African countries won 1: 0 The Russian team 2 and the team of Iraq fought in the match for the 3rd place. The Russian team 2 won in a series of six-meter strikes with a score of 2: 1.

The top places are:

• The 1st place - the united team of African countries;
• The 2nd place - the Russian team 1;
• The 3rd place - the Russian team 2;
• The 4th place - the team of Iraq;
• The 5th place was shared by the teams of Egypt and Morocco.

The best goalkeeper of the tournament is Stephane Puo, the student from Cote d'Ivoire.

The best forward is Kepeu Patern, the student from Cote d'Ivoire.
