The students of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, Yulia Klimovich and Diana Smirnova, took part in the international youth forum "Volga-Yangtze"
On November 11, 2021 the closing ceremony of VII "Volga-Yangtze" Russian- Chinese Youth Forum was held. Students and postgraduates of higher educational establishments located in the Volga Federal District of the Russian Federation and regions of the Upper and Middle reaches of the Yangtze River in China (provinces Anhui, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan and the central city of Chongqing) took part in the forum.
The event attracted over 450 representatives of students and teachers from universities of the Volga Federal District and provinces of China.
Within two days of the Forum (November 10-11) there was an active work on four sessions: "Education", "Science and Innovation", "Youth Entrepreneurship", "Tourism, Culture and Art". There was also held a masterclass in folk arts and crafts and a concert of student creative teams of Russia and China.
"Undoubtedly, it is honorable to be the participant of the VII Russian-Chinese Youth Forum. Exchange of experience in online format gives us, the youth, the opportunity to tell about their homeland, to declare themselves and their developments, despite the distance and the prevailing situation in the world. During these two days, I learned a lot about scientific developments, education, entrepreneurship, culture, art and tourism, both in China and in our country. Each section of the forum was intense, but most of all I remember the science section. On this section we learned about new developments, which are not yet so well known, but they are aimed at improving life in one area or another. Also I want to note that the desire for development unites us" - shared student Julia Klimovich.
"For the first time I took part in a forum "Volga-Yangtze". It was a very useful and productive experience for me. China is one of the countries where great importance is attached to the subject of digital development. Such forums as "Volga-Yangtze" are very important because they allow you to interact with students from other countries, see and understand their worldview, learn their point of view on the problems they study, and exchange expert opinions," - Diana Smirnova shared her impressions.
