A meeting was held at SSTU with a representative of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Robert Nazmutdinov, Deputy Head of the Department for Permit and Visa Work, met with foreign students of the Gagarin State Technical University.

The event was attended by the acting head of the Department of International Communications Ilya Terentyev, employees of the department, as well as representatives of institutes.

The students were informed about the obligation to comply with the migration legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of migration registration, timely submission of documents for visa extension, mandatory medical examination and fingerprint registration.

They also discussed issues related to the specifics of obtaining a residence permit, a temporary residence permit, a temporary residence permit for education, and labor legislation.

Special emphasis was placed on measures of responsibility for violation of the established norms of the current migration legislation of Russia.

"Such educational meetings are very useful. Today I received an explanation from an expert on the specifics of obtaining a temporary residence permit," said fourth–year student Abushabaa Hassan.
