Foreign students of SSTU celebrated Maslenitsa

On the final day of the Maslenitsa, foreign students of the Gagarin State Technical University visited the Yuri Gagarin Space Conquerors Park. For many of them, this was the first acquaintance with the museum space, the keeper of the memory of an outstanding man, the first cosmonaut of the planet Yuri Gagarin.

For the first time, students of the Russian language courses of the Center for Language and Subject Training became participants in Maslenitsa fun –bag jumps, tug of war, burning of Maslenitsa, games, contests, master classes on creating a charm doll. Foreign students also got acquainted with the history of the holiday.

Note that such events help students to join Russian folk culture and traditions. The Department of International Communications develops active forms of socio-cultural adaptation of international students.
