SSTU takes part in the work of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus

The Russian House in Minsk held a meeting of the working group on the selection of citizens of the Republic of Belarus to study in the Russian Federation at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget in accordance with the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation in 2023/24 academic year.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Russian House in Minsk, Gomel and Brest. The working group of the Republic of Belarus included Yury Makushin, head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, and Elena Lipa, head of the Department of Higher Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Representatives of the leading Russian universities also took part in the meeting on-line. Tatiana Kasaeva, Vice-rector for International Relations, represented Saratov State Technical University.

During the meeting the participants were informed about the documents, regulating the selection process. They also defined the format of selection tests for candidates by levels of education, considered the stages and timing of the selection events. There are several stages of the selection process and the work of the university representative will be continued.
