Temporary residence permit for a foreign students of SSTU

Foreign students of Gagarin State Technical University have the opportunity to apply for a Temporary Residence Permit for Educational Purposes (TRPEP).

The validity period of the TRPEP is for the entire period of study and an additional 180 calendar days after the day of graduation. After receiving your diploma, you can apply for a residence permit in the Russian Federation (residence permit).

Advantages for students who have completed the TRPEP: 

• registration of TRPEP without obtaining a quota; 
• extension of the validity period of the visa for the period of the TRPEP; 
• exemption from the obligation to undergo an annual medical examination;
• the term of the TRPEP does not change after the passport is replaced; 
• the opportunity to obtain a residence permit within three years after graduation without the need to obtain a temporary residence permit.
