The head of the Head of the Preparatory Language Сenter took part in the round table within the framework of the festival "RFL in SSU"

A round table was held on the Linguistic and cultural aspect of teaching Russian as a foreign language within the framework of the V Festival "Russian as a foreign language in SSU" dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin. Ilya Terentyev, Head of the Preparatory Language Сenter, took part in the event on behalf of Gagarin State Technical University.

The meeting is organized in order to popularize and promote the Russian language, expand interest in the study of Russian culture, geography, and history of Russia.

The experts touched upon such topics as the translation of Russian culture through the study of RFL, the linguistic and cultural aspect of learning Russian by foreign students, ethnospecific and ethnocultural aspects of teaching RFL and special disciplines in a foreign language audience, the possibility of using the informational, cultural, aesthetic environment of Saratov in teaching RFL.

It should be recalled that the Department of International Communications of the SSTU systematically participates in events aimed at sharing experience in the field of theory and teaching methods of RFL.
