Foreign listeners have begun to study the Russian language
On the basis of the International Center for Testing, Translation and Language Training of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov, teachers of the Department of History and Cultural Studies annually hold courses in Russian language. After the training, students can enroll in one of the Russian educational programs at the university.
This year, students from Morocco, Egypt and Iraq began Russian language courses. For the first time a listener from Japan came to our university. Tomita Ren arrived from the Land of the rising sun two months ago. He is very happy that the university provides an excellent opportunity to learn Russian and continue his studies at the region's supporting university.
"Russian is not an easy language, it differs a lot in grammar from Japanese. I think I'll be able to learn it. The teacher was able to find an understandable form of presentation of knowledge. I will do my best, because I dream of staying in Russia. It is here, in Saratov, I met my girlfriend", - shared his impressions Tomita.
"Russian is considered one of the most difficult languages in the world. But the high qualification and many years of experience of the SSTU teachers allow foreigners to master it at a decent level. The knowledge they acquire in the classes will be useful for them not only at exams, but also in real speech practice, in situations of domestic, business or cultural communication", explains Yulia Taboyakova, Senior Lecturer of the International Center for Testing, Translation and Language Training of the SSTU.
The state standard certificate issued at the end of training confirms a certain level of knowledge of Russian as a foreign language and is recognized in all higher education institutions of Russia.
