The guided tours of Saratov and Engels were organized for international students of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov

The excursions took place within the framework of the work of the International Students Association at the Technical University. The main goal of the Association is to help international students in adaptation and socialization during their studies at the University, as well as to strengthen mutual understanding and build trusting relationships.

During the excursions international students learned about history and places of interest of Saratov and Engels. They also learned a lot about famous people whose fate is connected with the region. They visited the Saratov Regional Museum of Local History, Saratov State Art Museum named after A. Radishchev, historical and patriotic Museum of Military and Labor Glory, Lev Kassil Museum as well as Yuri Gagarin Park of Space Explorers.

"I like travelling and discovering new places. I like Saratov - there are many beautiful buildings here. We visited some of the most interesting museums and realized that Saratov has a big and outstanding history. Thank you to the organizers for the opportunity to get to know the region better", Waleed Bagain from Jordan said.

The International Students Association would like to thank the Tourism Committee of Saratov Region and its head, Victoria Borodyanskaya, for organizing interesting and informative excursions for students.
