The work of SSTU delegation in Kazakhstan continued in Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems
A delegation of SSTU, consisting of employees of the International Communications Department: Head Evgeniya Tokareva, Deputy Head Ilya Terentyev and Director of IMST Alexey Kazinsky, visited the Republic of Kazakhstan.
One of the main goals of the working visit to Kazakhstan was to develop interuniversity cooperation. The second university which was visited by delegation of SSTU was Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems.
Talks between SSTU delegation and administration of KazUITS were held at the site of university. Kazakhstan University of Innovative and Telecommunication Systems is one of the versatile universities of West Kazakhstan region.
Within the framework of the business meeting the staff of international communications department of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov presented the university as a significant partner. Polytech implements educational programs and academic mobility programs relevant to the residents of West Kazakhstan region.
As a result of the meeting, a number of agreements were reached. One of the main can be noted the agreement on cooperation between the colleges of universities. It is planned to interact in the framework of academic mobility, student exchanges, bilateral participation of professors in scientific activities of universities. There is also a demand among the graduates of KazUITS college to continue their education in Bachelor's and Specialist's programs in the largest technical university of the Volga region - Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.
Vice-President of KazUITS Gaukhar Kairlieva noted that for their professors, who train engineers, programmers, technologists, programs of professional development in Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov are relevant.
Steps have been developed to create a roadmap for joint work between the two universities. Also in the plan is to develop a dual degree program.
Polytechnic university continues to strengthen cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the border territories.
