Foreign students and professors of SSTU became winners of the third festival "Russian as Forein Language at SSU"

On April 13, the Linguistic Interactive Game for foreign students was held within the framework of the Festival "Russian as Foreign Language at SSU". The following students took part from our University: Bagain Waleed Hazem Zherez, 3rd year (Jordan); Al-Rabadi Alaa Bashir Eid, 3rd year (Jordan); Obada Muntader Hazim Samir, 4th year (Iraq).

The students performed brilliantly, were noted by the jury as "Opening of the festival" because of the creativity and sharp thinking. According to the results of the interactive game, our team shared the first place with foreign students of SSU named after N.G. Chernyshevsky.

On the same day we had the round table "Innovative Methods in the Teaching of Russian as a Foreign Language" with the participation of our teachers of Russian as a foreign language: Yulia Taboyakova (senior lecturer of History and Cultural Studies Department), Anna Shadrina (senior lecturer of Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology Department) and Olga Akatova (Associate Professor of the Media Communications Department).

On April 2, at the festival was an interuniversity Olympiad in Russian language "Mosaic of Russian word", by the results of which Bagain Waleed took an honorable 3rd place among the 80 participants. The awarding of the winners took place at the closing ceremony of the festival.
