SSTU students successfully presented the university at the “Russia—Asia” forum

RUDN University with the support of ROSATOM and the participation of ROSATOM's supporting and partner universities held the first International Youth Forum “Russia — Asia: human resources potential of the nuclear industry in the region.

Representatives of international organisations, diplomatic missions of Asian countries in the Russian Federation, government agencies, university community, business and public organisations of Russia were invited to participate in the forum. The sections were moderated by experts — representatives of leading core and partner universities of Rosatom State Corporation - MEPhI, TPU, SPbPU, MISIS, RUDN; the speakers were young scientists and graduate students as well as representatives of the business and academic community.

Sijan Hossain and Badhon Deb, students of the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications, presented their reports in the section “Ecology”. Alina Degteva, a lecturer of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University made a presentation in the section “Youth/social movements and organisations”.

The forum events allowed to establish useful friendly contacts with Russian and foreign partners from Myanmar, Vietnam, Mongolia, India, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and other Asian countries, as well as to strengthen the status of the SSTU as a supporting higher education institution of Rosatom State Corporation.
