Foreign students of ETI learned about the details of migration registration process

Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov continues the cycle of meetings within the framework of the program of legal enlightenment of foreign students.

This time the employees of the Migration Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Saratov region held a meeting with foreign students of the Engels Technological Institute of SSTU. During the meeting there were discussed questions of legal bases of stay of foreigners in Russia as well as subtleties of migration registration.

The employees of the Migration Department answered students' questions about the most important issues concerning the stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation. Such as - innovations relating to migration registration, obtaining permission for temporary residence, residence permits and registration of entry visas to the territory of the Russian Federation for the purpose of studying at the university.

"I believe that from the first days of study in Russia, foreign students should know their rights and obligations in order to comply with the correct migration registration", - said Dmitry Mikhailin, senior inspector of the migration control department of the Migration Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Saratov region.

According to the students, such meetings in the format of a dialogue help them better learn and understand the legislation of the Russian Federation.
