Foreign students were told about the details of migration registration process

At the request of the students, the invited guests of the event were the employees of the Migration Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Saratov region. The legal basis of stay of foreigners in Russia and nuances of the migration registration were discussed during the meeting.

Special attention was paid to the aspects concerning the entrance to the territory of the Russian Federation for the purpose of studying in the university and registration of the permission for temporary stay.

"Students who graduate with a red diploma have a priority right to obtain a residence permit in Russia. Polytechnic is the leader in issuing such quotas. I think that students should know their rights and obligations for correct migration registration from the first days of their studies in Russia," said Alyona Kozyreva, a senior inspector of the Permit and Visa Department of the Department of Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Saratov region.

The students noted that such meetings in the format of a dialogue help them better learn and understand the legislation of the Russian Federation.
