International Communications Department staff showed concern for foreign students

International Communications Department at Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov shows comprehensive care for foreign students, including taking into account the details of the mentality and subtleties of national traditions.

Taking into consideration the fact that it is the Muslim fasting month and our students have to abstain from eating and drinking during the daylight hours and combine it with their studies, the administration of International Communications Department decided to support the students. The Department staff visited dormitories where students live and presented a traditional attribute of an evening meal of Ramadan - a date.

It is worth mentioning that this tradition is widespread in Arab countries, former USSR republics and Muslim regions of Russia. Due to this circumstance, such a symbolic gesture was a pleasant and unexpected surprise for students.
