Students of ETI of SSTU became the winners of the project contest "My Space is Beauty"

12 of April, on the Day of Cosmonautics, the international competition of projects «My space is beauty», dedicated to the 61st anniversary of the first human spaceflight, was held on the site of SSTU.

The contest was held from April 1 to April 9, 2022 in the distance format. An exhibition of the projects and awarding of the contest winners took place today.

The students of the 4th year of Engels Technological Institute of SSTU - Sherzod Holjumanov, Razhabov Zhakhongir, Musobek Obidjanov, Ohunov Shokhzhakhon - took the 1st place in the age category from 18 till 25 years old. The guys presented a planet rover, SOKOL-M ultrasonic radar, charging battery system for the planet rover, antennas for message transmission to minimize electricity and landing module «VENERA».

«Our planet rover operates only during the day so that the blizzard dust on other planets doesn't block the view of the solar system, it automatically closes at night. Radar within 180 degrees and 50 centimeters signals for obstacles. There are sensors on the satellite and rocket, too. When the module lands, the sensor starts to glow and make distinctive sounds», said Musobek Obidzhanov, a team member from Polytechnic University.
