Students of the Russian as a Foreign Language courses take part in the Open Day

Students of the Russian as a Foreign Language course of the Preparatory Language Center of the Department of International Relations Department visited Institute of Power Engineering of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.

The meeting was attended by Nikita Ozerov, Head of the Institute of Power Engineering, Alexander Munin, Deputy Head for Science, Serk Mukhambetov, Associate Professor of the Department of “Electric Power and Electrical Engineering” and Ilya Terentiev, Deputy Head of the International Relations Department.

Representatives of the Institute informed future applicants about the diversity of specialisations, the rules of submitting documents for admission, the organisation of the educational process, the institute’s innovative and project activities, opportunities for internships at major industrial enterprises and the employment prospects for graduates.

Foreign applicants also got acquainted with the current projects and prospects for the development of the energy industry, visited the institute’s educational laboratories and learned about the work of innovative equipment of the “smart home” complex.

As a result of the event, many of the applicants expressed their desire to enroll at SSTU.
