The University held a training seminar "Current Issues of Foreign Education Recognition"

Within the framework of the training seminar "Topical Issues of Foreign Education Recognition" employees of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov analyzed the changes in legal regulation of foreign education and qualifications recognition in the Russian Federation that came into force.

The event was organized by the International Communications Department. The participants were those in charge of international students, as well as the staff of the admission committee of Polytechnic University.

Recognition of foreign education is one of the main aspects of international academic mobility. Currently, the Russian Federation is a participant of more than 70 international agreements on recognition, which establish links between certain levels of education and qualifications and allow holders of recognized documents on education to continue their education. For qualitative realization of these directions of work the staff of the SSTU international department improves qualification both in person and remotely in the "Glavexpertcenter".

In order to increase the export potential of the Russian education system, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia is constantly working to update previously concluded agreements and develop new draft documents, taking into account geopolitical priorities.

"In order to ensure quality and continuous education it is necessary to create conditions for mobility of foreign students in receiving and applying education received in SSTU. One of the necessary conditions for this is the recognition procedure," Alexei Muratov said, he is a certified specialist in the recognition of foreign education and qualifications in the Russian Federation.
