SSTU Participates in a Major Exhibition Presenting Russian and Chinese Educational Institutions
Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov is actively strengthening its position on the international educational stage — the university has taken part in a major travelling exhibition and presentation in China.
The event is taking place from 25 October to 2 November and brings together leading Russian and Chinese educational organisations. The SSTU delegation is headed by Tatyana Kasaeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Svetlana Kumova, Head of the Institute of Applied Information Technology and Communications.
During the event, exhibitions will be held in the cities of Tianjin and Zhengzhou, showcasing key areas of study, opportunities for academic mobility and promising research projects. An important part of the programme will be participation in the 3rd Russia–China ‘Culture of Education’ Forum, which will address issues of intercultural interaction in the academic environment. The SSTU delegation will also take part in Russian Universities Day in Beijing and visit the China Education Expo 2026 – one of the largest industry events dedicated to international education.
Special attention is being paid to professional dialogue. SSTU is taking part in the International Pedagogical Congress ‘Career Guidance and Educational Tourism as Drivers of the Development of Modern University Education’. University representatives will discuss with their Chinese colleagues current trends in career guidance, tools for attracting prospective students and models of educational tourism, as well as the prospects for implementing innovative teaching technologies.
The main objectives of SSTU’s participation in the exhibition are to recruit talented Chinese prospective students and young professionals, to establish professional contacts with heads of universities and schools, and to explore new avenues for bilateral cooperation. The focus is on exchanging best educational practices, launching joint programmes and developing academic mobility. Participation in this large-scale exhibition reaffirms SSTU’s commitment to integrating into the global educational landscape and strengthening the scientific and educational dialogue between Russia and China.
