SSTU Plans to Collaborate with Colleges and Universities in China

As part of a business trip to Beijing, representatives of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov took part in the 3rd China–Russia Forum on Culture and Education, which was held at the ‘Chunguangcun’ Centre for Innovative Analytical Research.

The theme of the forum was digital intelligence as a driver of development and innovation in the professional sphere.

During the forum, cooperation agreements were reached with colleges and universities that are members of the China Private Education Association, including Qingdao Huanghai University (cooperation in the field of information technology).

The China Private Education Association was established in 2008 and is the only nationwide sectoral association in the field of private education in China, operating with government approval under the guidance of the Central Department of Social Work, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Administration of the People’s Republic of China. There are more than 130,000 non-state educational institutions in China, which is approximately 31 per cent of all educational institutions in the country. The Association works closely with regional private education associations and relevant research institutes, forming an industry platform for self-regulation and the development of cooperation.
