A graduation ceremony for foreign graduates was held at SSTU
The ceremony of awarding diplomas to foreign graduates took place at the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.
This year, about 100 students from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Iraq, Morocco, Azerbaijan, CAR, Egypt, Jordan, Sudan and Uzbekistan graduated from the Polytechnic University.
Olga Mizyakina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at SSTU, and Tatyana Kasaeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations, addressed the graduates with parting words. They wished yesterday's students success and new achievements on their professional path.
Avazbek Obidov, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also addressed the foreigners: "I want to congratulate all graduates on the long-awaited graduation from SSTU. I would like to express special gratitude to the teaching staff, who have cultivated knowledge in today's graduates and thanks to which they have become qualified specialists!"
Graduates received diplomas from the Institute of Urbanism, Architecture and Construction, the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Transport, the Institute of Electronic Engineering and Instrumentation, the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications, as well as the Engels Institute of Technology, including a double degree program with a foreign university. Now they have become certified specialists: engineers, architects, economists, programmers.
The festive event was complemented by performances by the creative teams of the Polytechnic University.
