Educational Bridge: Gyumri – Saratov

Students from the Economic Lyceum and the branch of the Armenian State Economic University met with representatives of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov in Gyumri.

The event was held at the branch of the ASEU with the assistance of the Russian House in Gyumri.

SSTU was represented by Karapet Grandonian, Head of the Socio-Economic Institute and Nadezhda Lisitskaya, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department. During their presentations, they familiarised participants with current trends in technical education, emphasising its practical nature, which includes engineering projects, research activities and modern models of professional training.

As part of the event programme, an investment and economic business game consisting of four stages was held. Participants developed product concepts, carried out preliminary assessments and presented their solutions to the audience.

At the end of the game, the best teams were awarded a themed prize - the board game Monopoly: Saratov-Engels, which symbolically emphasised the importance of developing economic and investment thinking.
