For the first time, foreign citizens can study at the preparatory department of the university within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation

Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov has successfully passed the federal selection process, thanks to which it will receive budget places to study at the preparatory department for foreign citizens.

In early April, a meeting of the expert commission of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on the selection of universities, at the preparatory departments of which training will be provided at the expense of budget allocations from the federal budget in the 2025/26 academic year, was held. According to the results of the work of the expert commission Gagarin State Technical University entered the final list.

The university has entered the list of federal state educational organizations, in the preparatory departments of which foreign citizens and stateless persons have the right to study in programs in Russian, at the expense of budget allocations from the federal budget.

We are talking about people who enroll in education within the quota for education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation established by the Russian Government.

Currently, 100 foreign citizens from 8 countries of the world are studying at the university's preparatory courses.
