Foreign students of SSTU – participants of the Obninsk Tech Winter School 2026

This year, the third Obninsk Tech Winter School 2026 is taking place in Obninsk from 1 to 7 February, bringing together students from different countries to learn and share experiences in the field of nuclear technology.

Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov is represented in the international educational programme by:

Amer Adam Mohamed Mahmoud Elbaz (Arab Republic of Egypt), 2nd year master's student of the Institute of Urban Planning, Architecture and Construction;

Kerim Aganyazov (Turkmenistan), 2nd year student of the Institute of Power Engineering;

So Dinhyong (Republic of Korea), 2nd year student of the Institute of Applied Information Technology and Communications;

Mohamed Traore (Islamic Republic of Mauritania), 3rd year student of the Institute of Applied Information Technology and Communications.

The winter school’s educational programme includes interactive lectures, workshops and master classes on the energy and non-energy applications of nuclear technologies.

The programme is being implemented as part of the project to create the ‘Obninsk.Tech’ International Scientific and Educational Centre, in collaboration with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.

Besides the educational activities, participants will be able to take technical tours of specialised enterprises and enjoy a cultural programme.

The ‘Obninsk.Tech’ project is one of the key international educational projects in the field of nuclear education. The goal is to develop students’ professional competencies and strengthen international scientific and educational cooperation.
