Representatives of SSTU Take Part in Quota Campaign in Ankara

The Russian House in Ankara holds interviews with applicants for admission to Russian universities under the Russian Federation Government’s quota programme.

Representatives of 10 Russian universities participate in the educational exhibition and interviews. The quota commission includes representatives of the Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov: Vice-Rector for International Relations Tatyana Kasaeva, Head of the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications Svetlana Kumova and Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Nadezhda Lisitskaya.

SSTU’s delegation gives presentations about the university to Turkish applicants and also consults and assists them in making career choices.

The results of the commission’s first day showed that interest in technical education continues to grow. Applicants actively choosing Saratov as the city in which to pursue higher education. Among the most popular fields are IT, robotics, and power engineering.

For information: According to the results of the commission’s work, 223 people will be selected to receive scholarships to study in Russia.
